Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Majority Of Switch Owners Prefer To Play At Home

Nintendo of America had conducted a Twitter poll to find out where its fans prefer to play Nintendo Switch. The vast majority of participants said their favorite place to play is in the comfort of their home.

I don't know why anyone would ever want to bring their Switch to the beach, seems like way too many things could go wrong there!

I mean, I'd prefer to play at home as well... however it doesn't work like that lol.
also: meanwhile in japan...

Disappointing. I thought this was going to be actual docked/undocked stats instead of a dumb poll.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

They should bring this poll back when they release the Switch mini. As it is, the Switch is a pretty ig machine for a handheld.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

The poll options vs. home are terrible.

It is much more surprising, given the options, that 17% of the people picked those over home. I don't really see the US as much of a country which goes out to the park or beach (and taking Switch there is a bad idea, anyway), or uses public transport - railroads are not common in the US, and flying is something like 10 times more expensive.

In other countries, there would be much more public travel players where it is much more common.

But for the US, MUCH more obvious options would be: School, friends' houses, workplace, or car.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
