Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Bethesdas expectations on Skyrim for the Switch?

I am only getting when I can buy it for 30~ or less.

Around the Network

More then it deserve for a 6 year old port

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

They'll expect more than 1 million, the ceiling will be less than 500k.

It will reach within million less then a year on US , i hope so, the selling point will be the handled factor

One million would be a good message towards other third party developers/publishers.

^accurate description of Bethesda's third party expectations

People are really optimistic here, predicting one million and more?

A game from 2011 released for an audience who isn't that interested in WRPGs. I think 500,000 would be extremely good sales.

Jim's comment about pasta sauces people wanted but didn't ask for comes up here if you ask me. When's the last time Nintendo had a WRPG worth buying (Mass Effect 3 perhaps in the midst of the collection being released elsewhere).

I mean who'd have thought Nintendo fans would like a shooter before Splatoon released?

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

My prediction is that the game will sell poorly at launch, but then jump considerabl once the price aligns with the other versions. At 30-40€ it could sell well enough.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
