Your opinion only holds water if top notch graphics are crucial. But this actually looks fine.

High quality graphics would benefit Monster Hunter enormously, adding to both the immersion and believability of the world and the monsters.

Graphics aren't everything, but they do matter, and for a game on hardware stronger than PS3/360/Wii U, this just isn't an acceptable level of quality in my opinion.
