Is anyone here planning on getting a SNES classic, and if so are you going to do your best to preorder it?

I would love to get a preorder in and avoid any hassle since I'm stoke about the games lineup on it, plus it's a perfect little collectors item. I had read recently that there were rumors floating around that this would be the weekend that it would go up for preorder which lines up with Nintendo's statement of late August. I can't find any info on that now so I'm thinking that rumor was debunked, but I'll still keep on my toes.

I am not going to pre-order it myself, as I already have an SNES, and an SNES emulator on my Wii, so this would be a bit redundant. But I hope those that want one can find it!!

Thankfully preorders were up in the UK a long time ago. Got mine in.

Preordered mine from Toys R Us. Granted I paid a bit more than RRP (£80 iirc).

Skipped out on the Mini NES as the games didn't really grab me. This one though, yeah.. not passing on a relaunched SNES!

After the long years of being a total SEGA fanboy, I have to admit I was always envious of my brother's SNES. Those controllers are heavenly for platformers and 2D sidescrollers - Contra anyone?

I do agree with the controllers, Nintendo essentially nailed controller perfection early on :o

I'll preorder one if I can, if not, I'm not gonna bother hunting one down.

I've been keeping an eye out for pre-orders. My back-up plan: camp out at GameStop.

I never preorder anything, console or otherwise. If Nintendo doesn't make enough of them to to last beyond the preordered stock, then I won't bother with the SNES classic.

Already preordered 2, living in Europe is nice for Nintendo fans lately :p
