The graphics.... holy hell the jump from 3DS -> PS4 is a big one.

Never played a MH game before, but this one is piquing my interest.

I love the Dark Souls/Bloodborne games, and that trailer is giving me some Souls vibes.

I feel the same way.

Too bad this is an MMO... isn't it?

As far as I know it´s not an MMO....the MMO title is Monster Hunter Online, which was released in 2013 for PC.

Looking better each time I see it. My expectations have changed considerably since the first trailer. Although they need to work on the animations. Everything else was upgraded, but the animations don't seem that much better than what can be found in the 3DS/PS2/Wii titles.

Huh. I'm not really seeing what you guys are seeing. This looks like standard MH fare, albeit with prettier graphics. The hub, mission, and hunting loops look intact.

Believe me, I wish it was closer to Dark Souls. The reveal trailer had me hoping for a more typical action-adventure/RPG. But these trailers make the game look like a traditional Monster Hunter game, for better or worse.

!!!

I might actually end up playing this.

@Veknoid: Perhaps because I never saw gameplay for most MH titles

You can really see how free they suddenly feel when working on a platform with a GPU.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Really looking forward to this, my wife and I played monster hunter together quite a bit on 3DS. Only concern is it seems that to play together we'll have to get another TV and PS4 because I haven't seen anything about local multiplayer options.
