I...don't know that what you say here is true. I don't know if the Xbox One really has had a truly exceptional year for games.

I'm pretty sure what Fooks said is sarcasm, lmao

I have HUGE feelings the multiplayer wasn't anywhere near a go. I'm getting Scalebound vibes from this title now. Will it make it to market?

Funny part is that a multiplayer beta was originally planned for last summer, but it never came to fruition.

Don't worry we have the real crackdown here AKA "Agent of Mayhem "

Smart move.

The game would be crushed between all 3rd party games like CoD, Battlefront, Destiny, PUBG... etc.

If even Halo and Gears can´t compete against those on the Hollydays. Imagine how dissmay Crackdown would fare.

Phil Spencer:

"We showed Crackdown, which looks fantastic. It's going to be there at launch day for Xbox One X, which will be a great showcase for the box"

Not that great of a delay when it was supposed to be a great showcase for launch.

When they canceled Scalebound: "We’re working hard to deliver an amazing lineup of games to our fans this year, including Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves, and other great experiences."

Halo Wars 2 has been released, the other 3 games have been delayed into 2018...

"Console launch exclusive PUBG"...
So this means that its eventually coming to PS4. Good. Wonder how long we have to wait

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it's exclusive for just the Early Access period with the full releae releasing on XB1 and PS4 at the same. The PUBG devs don't need the money and Phil Spencer seems to be quite against paying for games and content to become exclusive in any way.

If I recall correctly they also chastised their competition for announcing games so far off from release, but then MS cancels and delays their planned games which becomes essentially the same thing as their competition.

This is why I am always skeptical of Microsoft. They shouldn't oversell themselves as a the type of game publishers that they aren't. If the game was this ambitious put the game into capable hands. Get some devs who were on the battlefield team to give some council.

At this point I'm really left wondering why Microsoft is even in the console market still.

The same reason they entered to integrate console gaming with windows multimedia. I feel sorry for Spencer though. I feel like he will turn the ship around again but that we will see the results closer to next gen.

Not so sure he's even supposed to. Microsoft created the XBox brand in order to stop PC users' switching to the PlayStation ecosystem. Most stuff they've done lately more looks as if they want to drive people back to PCs and services instead of a console. I don't even understand how people can give Spencer any credit. He's possibly doomed the brand forever and might be almost as bad as Mattrick at this very moment for the brand's image.

I know delays are good and all, but at what point will this game even be released??

Sounds plausible but I think Spencer's a good guy. Microsoft needs to build up some high level studios that can be trusted. I agree that Microsoft got into the console industry to stop PC users from jumping to sonys OS on the PlayStation.

Man, this game is certainly something else. Tune in next time, to see if the game will finally be released!!
