It barely caught them thanks to Splatoon. It'll be back below their graphs soon enough.

Even with 90k units going out this week, a reporter was 0/48 tries getting a Switch in the store.

Switch passed PSP and 3DS numbers in same time period, that quite impressive especially if we know that still is heavily supply constrained.

are you just going to use Hiska-kuns graphs without crediting him for his work?

That second chart... Playing in the big league...

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

So pretty much PSP numbers thus far.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Oh, silly Vivvy! You have to trust more in the power of Nintendo!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

My bad, fixed.

The Wii had a superb first year, but that was also it's best one in Japan. If the Switch can keep up with the Wii's first 2 years (3.6 and 3.0 millions), it's almost guaranteed it will outsell it handily as the Wii dropped off a cliff already in it's third year there (2.0M)

While the Switch might sell as well as the 3DS for a while, I don't really see it keeping up with the 3DS' crazy holiday sales in it's first year. But at this cruise speed it might catch up on DS and Wii during that time if Odyssey pushes the console far enough - given enough console supply of course

Which is impressive, isn't it? PSP did about 20m in Japan. If Switch is tracking so well while still being supply constrained, how high can it go once things settle? It's def something to celebrate. ^_^

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Nope. PS4 is best closely followed by PS3. I saw a thread here recently that confirmed this. It is all about context you see, absolute numbers are for mugs.

Funny, I was in teh thread earlier today about PS4 sales in Japan and someone was claiming how it was such a success and other pointed out how poorly its sales were compared ot like the 3DS, DS, PSP, PS2 and others. That person comes back with something like you can't compare it's success with those systems.

Ha, if you can't compare a systems success against the most successful systems in the region, then what are you comparing it to? The failures? Since it sold more than 10 consoles its a success unlike the XBox? Is that the criteria now?
