Well most you know for me nnot to have a Nintendo system at launch is lke a cfriminal act lol.

I been patiently waiting to see if Nintendo annouces a new model and what not.

I have reached my limit almost of waiting and really want the damn system.

The question is does anyone feel like Nintendo in the next 6 months is going to throw a curveball and annouce a new and better model?

If you think a new mdoel will come, when do you expect it to?

If you're waiting on a new switch, don't buy a switch for at least 4 years

Get it now. There has been a major restocking recently, and the release of Mario Odyssey, as well as the holiday season, is going to drive it out quickly.

I don't think a new model is coming until at least late next year, but waiting that long would sure be hard... and wise. Just ask yourself how much you really want to play the games on it now... I know the system's awesome and I'd also love to have one asap, but in the end just getting it on hype won't lead to much.

Well its nto so much hype, it is the owrry that I buy it and then a month form now they annouce a new model.

I have always thought it was a little underpowered and knowing what Nintendo did with the 3DS (by the way i own at least 14 of them lol, gonan preorder the samus edition soon) I thought a better one will come eventually, question is when haha. The wiat has been long so far.

And there's this, too. If you feel like you won't resist the urge to buy one before the year ends, you might as well pick one up now while they're being restocked.

Aus has plenty of stock we never had a shortage.

If a new model is what you're waiting for - don't. There won't be one at least until 2019.

But I do think you should wait till November/December anyways. The reason for this is because of the Switch's catalog. If Zelda disappoints you, then all you have to play is 2 remasters and Arms(which in my opinion is kind of hard to get into). A lot of people haven't been disappointed by Zelda, but if you are, then the Switch becomes a brick even if you're a fan of Splatoon.

But when December rolls around you get 3 more amazing exclusives.

Alright time to go shopping back in an hour.

If you're waiting for an improved model to be released, you may be waiting for awhile, at least a year maybe. If there isn't enough games to warrant a purchase, then keep on waiting.

I just got mine a little over a month ago and I don't really have all the time in the world to play games as I work a full time job during the summer, so I'm playing catch-up big time with BOTW, Splatoon 2 and Arms. With Mario+Rabbids around the corner, my backlog is filling up to quickly to meet the amount of time I have, so suffice to say I'd go in on the Switch sooner if you plan on playing most of the games currently available.

I'm not expecting an announcement of a new Switch model till Q3/Q4 of 2018.

Honestly though, unless you are dying to play Super Mario Odyssey, or any exclusives that came out like Splatoon 2, you should probably wait a little longer.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
