Killzone on PS2. So many little things in the game that put a smile on my face.
The sniper rifle was terrible though and I wish the controls had aged better. Overall, in some ways I enjoyed it more than even the great Halo CE!

Yoshi's Story and Yoshi's New Island
I feel Yoshi's Story is a little misunderstood and has a bit more depth and difficulty than many give it credit for. If you just rush through the levels eating any fruit you want, not bothering to search for hidden coins, heart fruits or get the highest score possible then yeah, you'll complete it very quickly. Getting 30 melons on every stage is quite an ask though.
Yoshi's New Island isn't spectacular or anything, but the gameplay is very close to the original Yoshi's Island, which is my favourite game of all time, so that certainly worked in its favour for me. I definitely prefer it to Yoshi's Island DS, which I found disappointing.

Did you play it on PC?
I have the PS3 version and words cannot describe how terribe the handling is, the game is unplayable.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
Sunshine has a 92 metacritic and I've seen endless people say they very much enjoyed or loved the game, and I'm one of them. I've never really come across someone who didn't strike me as a troll that claimed anything close to "absolutely loathing" Sunshine, even if they didn't care for it lol
I enjoyed Assassin's Creed 3 as well... Really, Andromeda is the only one on that list that strikes me as having faced real hate, but it still received good (not great) reviews and most who played it seemed to like it.
Anyway, while I think the masses sometimes miss a great game or two, rarely does it seem that the majority of them outright hate a game that's legitimately great and worth defending. I'm having some trouble thinking of much... I imagine there's some Nintendo titles that occasionally get strangely low scores despite being a lovely experience (that seems to happen with some of their less challenging games), but they almost never inspire anything like hate or loathing even in their detractors.
I suppose there's plenty of games I like that it has become popular among contrarians (essentially the hipsters of the gaming world) to hate, but I can't think of much that never received at least decent reviews.
Damn, I can't come up with anything lol
Trust me. AC3 gets PLENTY of hate lol

Agree, if 343 mixes Halo 4 sp and Halo 5 mp together, I will be in Halo heaven.
However, a game a lot of people hated that I liked was resident evil 0 and Resident evil 6. I even like those games more than Resident evil 7.
Rune Factory Frontier
