WTF Nintendo. Build more factories if you have to.

Is not that simple. Even if they had 10 times more factories, they still need to buy components (screen, memory, chips) from other companies, if the production of these components is constrained, more factories wouldn't increase the switch production.

Why would Nintendo build factories.
There is a limit to what they can do.

Went to two gametops and the switch had already sold out there.

Wait so we will actually know the demand and not the supply of the Switch from now on?

That is so sweet! Also at least now I can actually recommend the Switch now since it won't be harder to find than water in a desert.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

If anyone really needs a Switch I can hook you up with one from Norway lol

Switch is manufactured by Foxconn I believe, not sure if Nintendo still manufactures any hardware itself even in low volume.

I don't get it. I just looked on two separate sites (they're little ones called Amazon and Gamestop) and they both have switches. Sure they're bundles or more than $300 but hey I could have one in 2 days if I wanted. I don't, but I could.

I am Iron Man

That's cool~ I wonder how many they've stocked this time.

I dont think that supply problem is still solved so we still cant know how big demand is, but at least it seems that Nintendo is increasing supply of Switch.

Its very simple, fact that you have only expansive bundles or price point above $300 for regular Switch means that Switch is still heeavily contraitrained. OP news is about fact that every GameStop store (for the first time since launch) is receiving some units of Switch.
