Forums - Politics Discussion - Terrorist attack in Ouagadougou, 20 deaths

Yesterday evening, gunmen opened fire outside a Turkish restaurant in Ouagadougou, Burkina Fasao. There are 20 deaths and an unknown number of wounded.

One of the victims was Turkish, the nationalities of the others are yet unknown.

It's already the fifth terrorist attack in the country since December last year.

Like always, this sucks.

It says 20 killed in the article you linked.... and a larger number wounded.
Islam the religion of peace.

It first said 17, then 18, now 20. Hopefully the number of deaths doesn't increase anymore.

Thanks for bringing this to light, a lot of times events in countries like these aren't really brought up here. It's a horrible that happened, many people just trying to live out their daily lives getting caught up and killed merely for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

very sad to hear that the scourge of terrorism is haunting the people of Burkina Faso aswell and I don't doubt several other african and asian nations you seldomly hear about are affected aswell

unfortunately there is little more I can do than hope that their efforts to combat fanaticism manages to ensure their safety in the future

I came in just to see where this was at, guessed China and hoped it was North Korea so China would finally definitely be on our side.

Either way RIP, terrorism is bad wherever it is at.

What the fuck, you had hoped that people in China were murdered, so that it could have political usefulness?
