Maybe this is the first time you heard about these guys, but trust me: They are HUGE, and really, really talented.

I can't help but read this on Trump's voice.

LOL

This song is overrated as hell. Then again, most songs that exceed a billion conspicuously disclose that. It must have been PR but after I heard this song it quickly became forgettable. Even as a person learning Spanish I don't see the appeal.

Of course non Spanish speakers don't understand why the song is so damn popular because it's actually a good song and the Hispanic community is much bigger than we imagined.

It's not the best, Daddy Yankee has done far better than this but good for him and the Hispanic community.
Puerto Ricans you've done it again.

3.2 billion views as for today

This song started in Puerto Rico. I went over there 2 weeks by the time it became popular and heard the song everywhere I went. It became so popular that the song was already in south america in no time which is the place where justin bieber heard the song. Justin bieber notice how popular the song was over there as well that decided to contact luis fonsi to make the remix. 2 months in and the song is still popular. The thing about this song is that it is very catchy. if you listened the song long enough, you will ended up liking it whether you like or not. it happened to me and apparently a lot of people.

I listened to it a few more times, now it's not just boring anymore but it also starts to get very annoying.

I have heard this song way too many times and I don't even seek it out or listen to the radio or anything. It's everywhere!

Impressive that a song and a video from a tiny island on the middle of the Caribbean can be highly popular. Makes me proud to be a Puertorrican that a good and catchy song reached 3 billion views.

Alas, it won't last forever, I'm afraid.

I first heard this song about a month ago. It was some random little comedy video that played the chorus and It instantly took over me, I didn't need to be brainwashed into liking the song by hearing it everywhere for weeks/months.

I still think it's pretty good, not 3 billion views good but It's very catchy, I like it.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

It is very good that a music with a videoclip that promotes happiness and a festivity vibe is the most watched video. The world can still be saved XD
