If you need anymore proof that our culture is degenerating....

Yeah.. cause shitty music is not only an opinion, but also a sign of societies degradation AND exclusive to this generation...

Is it because the woman is insanely hot, or because their dance seems to consist of people bashing their pelvises together?

Admittedly I got bored and only watched the first half, but while it seems like a good video I don't much understand why it has billions of views lol

Resident spanish speaker, nothing of interest. It's your typical club love song or something.

OT: I don't know how this song got so much traction. I guess i'm just a curmudgeon.

Good for them.

BTW the actual degradation of society is showing in people who hate on anything that's popular.

I know that, but even then I still don't get it. There are tons of similar stuff from unkown artists. It must be interesting to study such phenomenons (like Pokémon Go last year, for example).

Well that was my point about marketing, this is just probably marketed better than most of the similar stuff from unknown artists... but there's probably something more. I haven't heard the song to know, nor do I plan on doing so, but there could be something in the lyrics or in the video that just helps it somehow?

That's what I'm trying to find: this something. I know for sure it's not in the lyrics. xD I have to watch the video tho, maybe it's in there like you said.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Don't worry, this kind of hate for popular things happens since the times of baroque music (or even before).

Cool that the Spanish language has the #1 video

I know, it was a joke. I don't believe in "degradation of society". I believe that today's society is in no way better or worse than 200 or 500 years ago. We just have more wealth, advanced technology and better controls.

True. Some things get better, some get worse.

I'm confused. How, of all the videos in existence, did this break records?
