Using this definition of weeaboo do you consider yourself a weeb?

"Weeaboo is a mostly derogatory slang term for a Western person who is obsessed with Japanese culture, especially anime, often regarding it as superior to all other cultures."

I'm just curious to see how many VGcharters are weebs. I dont consider myself a weeb.

I have a social life and don't weigh 500 pounds, so I'd say no.

I study Japanese, but no. Japan is an interesting country, just not a "surperior" one or whatever one think it means.

No (although my latest post on this website kinda says the opposite)

anime and cartoons are the same thing.
cartoons look better than anime.
cartoons have better plots and stories than anime.
Japan refers to any cartoon or anime as "anime".
your waifu isnt real.
the anime gasp is the most annoying sound on the planet.

and now I wait...

I don't consider Japan to be superior to other cultures, but I do have an interest in Japanese media, which is what a lot of people use for the term weeb these days.

Absolutely not. I barely watch anime anymore. Hell, I barely play video games anymore.

Nope.

I like watching anime, I enjoy playing japanese games and I did/do self-study the japanese language aswell.
But I don't believe that the japanese culture is "superior", it has it's strong and admirable/interesting points and it has it's very own problems.

So I don't consider myself a "Weeaboo" or better a "Wapanese" - a 4chan word filter setting later replaced instances in which Wapanese was used with the word Weeaboo on that board, which is why it's now generally used as a (more popular) synonym of Wapanese. Weeaboo has an original context from a comic strip in which it simply was something undesireable that is deserving of punishment.
