You realize you're talking about censorship, right? Some people on this site DO care about these kinds of things. Let them comment on the threads, while you comment on whatever gaming related threads you like.

Ok.

I had no access to a desktop browser for a while and I couldn't browse VGC, because it's fucking PAIN on mobile devices.

What does that have to do with the topic at hand? Lack of mobile friendly version is an ANNOYANCE to all members, unlike political threads, which doesn't bother everyone, and not to mention, threads can be avoided entirely if you aren't a lazy person.

If you guys are serious about changing the front page then you might as well prioritize and start with the more important problems, like introducing the mobile friendly version, the one we were promised ages ago

Actually the best way to fix the issue is to allow people the ability to add a filter to the hot topics. Make the hot topics more personal by tying it to a person profile. Yes it can be code intensive depending on how the site is already created but its something that the developers can throw in the hat when they do another major update.
