Just a quick thread from me today.

Please if you are playing Salmon run, lure the bosses to the basket.
When the boss Salmonids are splatted it makes it much faster and more manageable if you only have to carry the golden eggs a short distance.

For some reason squids online seem to struggle with this.

If Maws is targeting you walk towards the basket and get ready to throw a bomb into her mouth.

If you see a Steelhead, don't run up to it unless they are close to your basket, as they will stand still when they ready their ink bombs.
Use their short range to your advantage.

If a Steel Eel is targeting you make sure it does not splat your team.
Ensure that they will be able to splat the Salmonid controlling it, when it is getting close to the basket as the golden eggs appear at the driver.
Use a similar tactic for the Scrappers and the BBQ guys.

Make sure that you deal with Stingers and Flyfish quickly, they can singlehandedly ruin a run.

Drizzlers, I don't have any real tips for these yet, just do what makes sense I guess.
You can shoot them whilst they float to the ground, I guess that is a tip...

When the valves pop up you are tasked with finding the one that hides a golden Salmonid.
Start splatting the valves until you find the Golden Salmonid.
Once you open the correct valve the Golden Salmonid will float up to the top of the steam of green ink.
Start shooting the Salmonid as much as you can, it will keep dropping eggs until it runs into another valve and the cycle is restarted.
I don't know if there is a pattern for this section of Salmon Run yet, so until then it seems to be profitable, but sometimes challenging work.

Now recently I have seen dropships and motherships popping up, I do not have any tips for these yet.

I didn't even have enough time to beat the full tutorial before the event closed down. Let's see how long it lasts this time.

I think this session was / is 12 or 24 hours.
Same with the next session in a day or two.

The limited availability of Salmon Run is infuriating.
Were it open all the time I would probably rarely play the other modes.
I guess that is why they feel the need to artificially limit I suppose...
Still not a good enough reason.

You can actually shoot down the drizzler's torpedo before it can turn into a cloud. Just shoot it when it is green. You can shoot it back to the drizzler for an instant splat, but its a little bit tricky and you need to face it while having distance.

Nice you just helped me out, I can confirm that this works.

Use sting rays when the mothership starts sucking the basket.

That is what I am hearing too, I am not sure what happens though.
Do they drop eggs, or does it just make it easier?
Have you shot down a mothership yet?

It drops eggs, while also hurting the mothership (not faster, though). It's the best way to get eggs during that event.
