He's 17. He wasn't even alive to see the glory that was the NES and SNES era. You really can't expect someone that young to be able to acurately judge consoles from the 80's until today.

They will call it one of the greatest consoles of all time and it will sell for a ton of coin on Ebay. I call it the Dreamcast effect.

Until in 20 years the WiiU mini will be released with 100 games in ROM.

Hey! The Dreamcast WAS cool. It was the first console I ever played. Which makes it awesome instantly.

It's almost purely fueled by some kinda myth and nostalgia these days though - pretty much all the good stuff has been ported with better versions.

That said, Wii U will never see the same happen to it.

Well, in Nintendo terms yes, but in general there are many, many consoles that sold less.

It's brushed under the corporate rug now, I'm just glad they seem fully focused on moving forward, that's all I wanted them to do and as soon as possible. I still can't believe that quite a few people thought there was even a microscopic chance that they would spend any more time and resources on this machine for any extended period of time after the Switch released.

Well, I have a Dreamcast, and I really like it. Though I first got it in 2011, I was born in 1998 so I obviously couldn't get one back when it was still in production.
