The teases are finally over, and now it’s official: Super Meat Boy is coming to Switch. The game’s official Twitter account posted an image of the game on the new console.

Super Meat Boy may end up receiving a physical release on Switch handled by Nicalis. Team Meat put out a poll last night asking if fans would be interested in seeing the game at retail.

If we make a Switch version of Super Meat Boy...should @nicalis bring it to retail?

Team Meat isn’t talking about a release date or anything similar at this time. Hopefully Super Meat Boy will be on Switch before the end of 2017.

YES YES PLEASE!!! I've never tried this game out before, but it looks really cool. I'm not sure if it ever got a physical release elsewhere, but if it comes to the Switch, it'll be on my radar.

Ehh, it'd be cool, only problem is that it would be stuck with the crappy soundtrack.

Wonder how the stock 'd-pad' will do with a precise 2D platformer.
