Switch. The king of Japan!

Its only 4mill behind  the king  of consoles  in japan the ps4.

It's WAY ahead of the PS4 with aligned launches. The PS4 was hovering around 700k at this point and the Switch is now close to 1.4 million. It's sure to hit 2 million within it's first year. 2.5 seems likely, if the stock holds up.

~62k Switch's and ~53k PS4 is a good week for hardware.

And 3ds too. Hopefully all 3 sell well for the rest of the year.

Glad to see DQ, Splatoon, 3DS/Switch/PS4 all selling well. Deserved.

When people pointed out the PS4 was doing way better then wii u launch aligned, lots of the nintendo fans on this thread didn't accept that and only accepted total sales. It's only fair the same happens with the PS4 and Switch now. Can't have it both ways.

Some people need a reality check, PS4 while it's doing well is still on pace to only sell about in the same range as the PS3 did.

Switch is going to demolish the PS3/PS4 in Japan quite easily, all three of the top selling systems in Japanese history are all Nintendo portables, with 3DS being the third best selling system there.

As it should because it's a combination of the wii u + 3ds. It has a very high target it needs to hit to match last gen. And the gen before ds + wii it has no chance. Regardless of whether or not the  switch fails to hit the target of last gen it can stilll sell 20m+ and be considered a success.

Ar least we can now establish how hilariously wrong those people were especially now that they are going against their own logic for the switch.

So he`s wrong on how to spell than. Wrong on PS4 doing way better than Wii U launch aligned. Wrong on Nintendo fans not being able to accept that. And wrong on the assumption that "because some Nintendo fans are in denial (or not, as in this case), that Sony fans should be in denial too".

Is there anything he was right about?

You're actually all wrong because that graph is only the first year which i never commented on. I was referring to the period when PS4 was beating it launch aligned and nintendo fans were shutting their ears and acting like it didn't count.

Do you actually have any evidence of that? Was anyone saying "PS4 won't beat Wii U" after late 2015?
