I gave my blue Pokemon edition to my neighbour one time and i had almost everything unlocked and about 145 Pokemon catched. Some of them were extremely good trained (not with those bonbons that you could feed them to get up one level). When i got it back i had like 6 Pokemon... Never finished the game again afterwards though

i had a bad experiance as well, with ssbm at the time. I had all characters etc. and a friend of mine said 'wouldn't it be more fun to get them again?' i didn't really care much but we did it anyway. Another friend of mine comes to my house and starts COMPLAINING where the characters were (even though i had already got them except for a few) i was pissed off (and really kicked his ass without holding anything back at the game) after i got them all back guess what that friend suggested... to erase and reget everything. I really didn't feel like it anymore so i just said 'NO' since then i havn't erased anything but my brother felt like he was funny and started to randomly delete some files on the memory card. I was pissed at him for at least several weeks. some games have not been replayed ever since....

My PS2 memory card got screwed up back in the day and i lost, over 400 hours of GTA games. And over 100 hours of other games.

I spent nearly 200 hours being addicted to Diablo 2.... then one day one thing led to another and my file was deleted, I was really po'd... But the good thing is I got unaddicted.

Well I was allways a lucky one :P My worst thing that happened was my girl cousin overwriting my Ridge Racer records ... all of them ( ~ 30 hours ) . The funny thing is that she did it again afther 10 years , now for the PSP version :(

To this day, I can't figure out how to replay BulletWitch without losing all my data. It's no big deal (it's Bulletwitch), but I want to get some achievements!

also, if Otacon ever suggests saving your data, DO IT! When the time is right, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Banjo-Kazooie was better than Super Mario 64 in my opinion. A shame that happened.

I've done that before but I used gameshark to get my stuff and place back.

@Rock_on: I don't have a 360, so I can't get Banjo 3. I just remembered this one time my brother got jealous of this huge mansion I built in The Sims so he demolished it. He did the same thing when he saw how far I had gotten in Donkey Kong 64. I had my old Gameboy and Pokemon Red stolen too. I cried over it.
