I think at some point the pro might replace the standard ps4 because its clearly been designed to be an upgrade at a reasonable extra manufacturing cost and those costs will come down making the pro a viable main model. The 'X' seems to be a very expensive to manufacture product and I can't see it taking that route at all. This time next year we might be in a situation of clearing out standard ps4 stock. I can honestly see a situation where there are 20 pro's for every 'x' sold. However this is all down to Microsoft pricing. I think they may be forced to take a loss on the console to compete and keep a healthy market share in the US, Canada, UK and Australia.

There was one really good video I saw from Joraptor in which he discusses with another Youtuber about why Xbox is behind and how Sony is winning. To this day I think what the guest said is right on the nose and why Playstation continues to be the best. Playstation doesn't compete with Xbox, it competes with PC.

I have a Playstation 4. Even without having a 4k TV, I want to get A pro. I already have a pretty good PC(gtx 970 gigabyte, 8gb ddr4, i5-6600k, graphics card could be better but whatevs). Yet I'm still considering buying a PS4 Pro. Ps4 pro has the games to compete with high end hardware, Xbox doesn't. Xbox can't justify buyin a 4k console
