Forums - Gaming Discussion - Here's a look at what the Iphone 8 might look like.

iPhone 8: we got rid of the bezel, so now the entire front is all screen

iPhone 9: the screen now curves around the sides of the phone

iPhone 10: even the back of the phone has a screen for an enhanced UI

iPhone 11: buttons are the past, thats why every surface of the phone is now a touch screen.

iPhone 12: its just a piece of glass

all joking aside, where is the home button? also, no matter how many iPhone leaks i end up seeing, none of them end up being true.

Next we get a screen floating above a screen

The S8 is pretty solid. I don't have it, but when i borrowed my friend's for a day i was really impressed with its speed, battery life, and palm rejection. I felt very comfortable with small bezels at the top and bottom. It is probably the best designed phone currently. Add in Android 7.0 and the much better Touchwiz, I feel like it is finally as smooth and efficient as an iphone

IPhones have always felt laggier to me than Android phones. It's probably that I tweakedd with the developer options on mine.... but the Geekbench test results on the phones never match to how I feel about my personal use. The S8 is beautiful... but I feel that if I dropped the phone on its side.... the entire screen would shatter. Over the years.... I've preferred to invest in less popular brands such as Oneplus, ZTE, and Huawei as they are often cheaper. I might get the next release of the Galaxy S though...

I've stuck with the Note 5 for quite some time. It's pretty much close to perfect. Solid battery, good camera, gorgeous screen (even the S4's screen is beautiful), snappy software thanks to 7.0, and lack of side glass has me worrying less

wut

How do you watch youtube on the go if you don't have a smartphone

Why would I want to? I don't want to be connected online outside the home. Honestly even in doctors waiting rooms I like to just get lost in my own imagination. Not trying to be some hipster or anything. Just been like that since I was a kid long ago.

I have a ZTE Axon 7 and I love it.... but I wish a lot of these phone manufacturers gave more update support. Android Phones only get supported with updates for about 2 years while IPhones can get up to 4-5 years of support. I'm worrying that my phone won't get Android 8 (Oreo) since it shipped with 6. However... I was looking at the Note 5 and found one for 450 dollars and was impressed with the specs and the camera. The fact that it's not a car bomb also makes the phone sound really appealing. I think you should be good with the phone for a couple of years.

My first phone was a simply flip phone. Until then I stuck with it until I was told to get with the times lol

Even nowadays I avoid social media like the plague and restrict my phone to what is needed. Still, using it as a tool is very useful. GPS, flashlight, camera, texting, calling, small games, alarms, pdf viewing, etc. using a smart phone currently is the difference between living a productive and not productive life in many people's cases. i won't need to update my phone until 2019 probably

I'm not gonna lie..... I get distracted by tech all the time. My first phone was a pink Sony Ericsson which served me well. I eventually decided to switch to a rundown IPhone 5 and I've been using smartphones ever since. Truth be told... I should probably restrict myself from using mine since it pretty much consumes my lfie. I think it would be a nice change of pace to limiting my use.

I wonder why I'm not surprised.

Though it's weird that you hate Apple so much when you're practically in love with the Apple of video games.

SEGA is the Apple of video games?

Was more thinking about Nintendo. Maybe I got the wrong impression of you, but you always seemed very fond of Nintendo. My bad.

I'm a SEGA fanatic and been accused in my time online of being a Sony fan and a Nintendo fan. I'm just a gamer really. My collection of games is from about everyone except pre Atari stuff. Fave system ever is the Dreamcast.

Holy hell, that is ugly.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Rather buy a Moto/Pixel or mate 9/Honor 8 pro.
