Has anyone tried or purchsed one of the plenty (KatWalk, Virtuix, Vue Treadmill, etc) that have come out? Ive been thinking about pirchasing this especially since this would merge my two favorite hobbies.. excersize and games

That's going to be one sweat-soaked headset and 3 grand?..

I think it's safe to say not many have tried to purchase one of these. I could be wrong though.

roadkillers mentioned exercise which would mean perspiration...

I combined the two a couple years ago. In the early days of Destiny, I would get on my exercise bike and do patrol missions, and farm materials. It didn't coat me $3k.

Ah, my bad.

That's one thing I don't see any use for in VR. The headset already gets sweaty from simply using the move controllers.

There's plenty non VR excersize games or motion games that keep you moving. I prefer watching Netflix while working out, but have got some good excersize from DDR, Just Dance, Kung Fu Live, Sports Champions, Shaun White Snowboarding, Wii Fit. I tried Holoball in VR and hit the wall and the ceiling in no time, no good.

Ugh, treadmills are boring in real life let alone in VR
. I much prefer hitting the tarmac.

I thought this was gonna be some kind of joke thread but nevermind....

A lot more advanced, powerful and maybe precise than the first experimental VR sets, but as awkward as them, welcome back to the '90s!
