Why are we always "Nintendo fans" im just a fucking gaming fan, I like games, which i guess is most people on this site, It just happens Zelda is my favourite Franchise. I ain't no Nintendo fanboy just a Zelda fan.

That doesn't change the fact that singling out and proposing seclusion for whatever your justification may be is simply wrong. 

Or it may be right and fair. I had complaints about the poll being too Nintendo biased because of a mostly Nintendo fan community. I wanted to be fair to those guys too. I just can't please everybody... sigh... Why can't ppl just be less sensitive and let everyone else have fun too?

Now, don't get me wrong, I like Zelda a lot as well, in fact it's in my "Top 5 IPs with 3 or more games ", though I don't find any of them to be GOAT material (for my personal taste at least).

That said, there are quite a few very reasonable Nintendo fans around here...and then there are quite a few zealots.
But it's more or less same with all fan bases.

Maybe I was a bit naive, but I've learned. I'm learning more now that I'm being attacked by the very ppl I thought I was making happy. Thank you sir for being respectful with this post.

I didn't say you were a Nintendo fanboy. Why are so many ppl being so mean?! I didn't call out any individual. This whole thing was supposed to be for all of us. That's why I included games from many systems and genres!

In the very next sentence, I wrote that I don't like the term "fanboy" and said maybe "Nintendo faithful" would be better. Why is everyone ignoring that?! I have updated the post and took that name out.

This is definitely NOT a majority-"Nintendo fan" site. The reason those games won the polls every time was because you placed only one Nintendo game on each poll, so the gamers who prefer Nintendo games all voted for the same thing, while the Sony vote was divided across multiple titles. If you put two or three Nintendo games in each poll, the others would have a greater chance.

Hey sorry wasn't been mean just trying to explain that many people aren't nessecarilily a "Nintendo fan". We just really like Zelda. For example if you put say GTA vice city vs Ocarina of time, I would really struggle to choose one, but if you added in BotW well that would be a easy choice if that makes sense.

A lot of 'Nintendo fanboys' on this site also own other consoles. I'm probably more Nintendo exclusive than most people here, but that doesn't mean I don't like any other games.

The Last of Us, for example, is a fantastic game. But when you ask for my absolute favorite game of all time, then of course I'd prefer games of my favorite franchises (Zelda, Pokémon).


Anyways, if you really want a fair competition, I think that a 'What's your favorite game of console X' poll would be nice.

I didn't include only one Nintendo game per poll. Not even close. Sigh
