Update: I reworded this post because of the negative replies I've been getting. I want to keep this positive and friendly! I don't want to offend anyone. :)

I would like to know if you really enjoyed the poll contest and if you would like to see more polls. I will make a new poll for that in this post. I know the poll contest wasn't the best, but it was my first of this kind, so I will get better. I had a fun time with it, myself. Though, I got much criticism, I am tough and can handle it. I tried to make everyone happy, but I think that's impossible. That is one thing I learned.

Also, I learned that this is primarily a Nintendo player site. Therefore, non Nintendo games had little chance to win in the polls. In future polls, if I do them, I will separate Nintendo polls from Non Nintendo polls to give the minority, such as myself, the chance to vote for games that will have a chance at winning. But I will make Nintendo only polls to be fair to Nintendo fans. I think splitting this will be fair to both camps. 

I was surprised at so much community participation, and I thank you for your votes and comments! I feel that the contest was a smash success, despite my subpar first attempt. I hope it entertained you during the great chart drought of 2017. I primarily did this for you guys and I hope this inspires others to be creative, positive, and to do fun threads for the community too. If Vgchartz won't do it, we can! Thanks for reading!

As for seperating the games doesnt make sense. Nintendo fans dont only play Nintendo games so if other games are better than Nintendo games(which they rarely are) then they will win the poll.

I'm not being disrespectful at all, friend. I have learned by this site and from gamers in real life, that Nintendo fans will go with Nintendo no matter what. They would defend a Mario Pissing Contest game with a metacritic score of 1 just because Nintendo made it. Not all Nintendo fans, but a majority, I think. Nostalgia is a huge thing when it comes to gaming! 

I think it would be best if you didn't use any terms when to refering to Nintendo fans, or any for that matter, as they have a sort of negative connotation to them. Perhaps instead of removing any category of games, perhaps do more focused polls, such as 'best nintendo games' or 'best sony games'. Otherwise it seems you're trying to skew results to your preferences.

It my appear that way, friend, but I view it as a chance for fans of all other platforms--Sega, Xbox, PlayStation, etc.--to have a fair shake at winning on a majority Nintendo site. For example, I really dislike Xbox but I want to let them have their voice too. See what I mean? It's not just for me, but all that want to be represented.

I doubt it. If that were true this game would have got better sales and it would have got a better user score.

How about a 'best of Xbox list' then? That would be one way of doing it. The way you target Nintendo fans like that is why you get heat from them.

Please don't make any more polls or topics like that ever again.

No, I didn't mean it that way! I don't hate Nintendo, I just got mad when they abandoned Wii U owners so quickly. I was trying to stick up for Nintendo owners. People misunderstood my intentions. 

Well, that's still decent sales for such a boring sounding game. But I take your point. Thanks for sharing.
