So, you are not going to tell us what the guy is looking for?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

I write myself - short stories in german. I don't write english, as it isn't my native language. But I'm fine with reading it (read 'A Song of Ice and Fire','The Expanse and many Indies in english), but I may not be the best judge of language and grammar. Still I appreciate a good story and I'm a Sci-Fi-fan, so I'm interested. Should I send you my e-mail via PM, so you can send it to me?

If a demigod is who needs nothing to live finds that one thing he's looking for, there's no story.  The rest of the book would just be him partying all the time trying to forget what he just found so he could look for it again.

No, kinda the gimmick of the book.  But I promise, I don't think you'll ever guess as to what it is.

The thing is, why would I care for the answer if I don't even know the question?
