Forums - Website Topics - Has it ever been worse on Vgchartz before?

I remember the time where I only registered on this site for the good old weekly chart updates.
Oh man, that was a great time and I had so much fun with all the discussions about the sales with the other users in this forum. I really wish that Brett would start doing weekly chart updates again. :/

OK, thanks I will check that out. He used to talk in the forums? What would cause him to want to all but abandon his own site?

It probably didn't make as much money as he hoped for. The chart updates were free to view, but he eventually introduced VGC Pro for paid subscribers, a program for companies to sign up to and get access to more data than the free version. The existence of VGC Pro is evidence that he wanted to make a lot more money from his efforts with this website, but VGC Pro didn't catch on and that's when he directed his attention towards other endeavors.

What was the price for Pro?

I remember it being incredddibly steep for what is essentially estimates?

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

You know what, there are many people losing interest in the site, and I don't blame them one bit. There's me and a few other people who'd really like to help and improve the site, but we can't really do anything on our own. So, it just stays in limbo.

Do anyone ven come here anymore for the numbers? been years since they got updated regurarly.

I stopped looking at all after it was obvious that the PS4 basically has this gen. It's nice to comment on the occasional thread, but yeah...

i heard that recent sales numbers are held back because the are so depressing for certain console devs. #pleasedontstopmyfakenewspowerdhypetrain ; -)

I remember when I joined this site back in 2006, before the Wii launched. ioi (Brett) was so enthusiastic about the site, he gave it a lot of attention.

Those were the days.

It was just "fazz", I discovered this site thanks to another shoddy site called "Nexgenwars", so I started lurking for some time until I made an account in 2007.

I see. I remember seeing Brett post a few times here, but he's been MIA for a long time now.

Is Georgia hot? huh, I always thought of it as a cold country. It used to be part of Russia even right? Definitely don&t think of hot places when thinking about Russia.

Well, Sochi is pretty warm, and Georgia isn't too far away from there
