I don't think I have done this yet.  And if I have, I was probably drunk.

I am a "Gamer".  Raised in a pool hall from 1980-1988 (age 5-12).  Pool tables, Foolsball tables, Mrs. Pacman, and Donkey Kong debuts, I recall tugging on peoples pant legs and begging for quarters to pump into the leased arcades my parents were bringing in.  I had the means to disable enemy shooting on Galaga (1st cheat code) to play until I was forced off (by my parents).

Atari was my gateway into console gaming.  I owned about 60 games on it, and then NES came out and I migrated to it.  I did not own the Nintendo Virtual Boy or the Sega Game Gear, but pretty much everything else.  I remember mowing lawns and washing cars for extra money for my school supplies and clothing for the 1989 school year and was able to make extra for my Gameboy purchase.  It was my first console to purchase by myself and I still have every instruction manual and box in original condition.

Achievements:  I also entered a VG Chartz beauty contest and probably came in last.

My birthday is friday (Aug. 4th).

Welcome! I think I've seen you post here a few times, but I'm definitely not too familiar with you.

Happy birthday man. Mine will be in 5 days.. I'll be 30 then.

Your bday is the same as my brother (and best friend) he's exactly 10 years more child than you! Perhaps that means we could have been best buds in a different dimension.

Enjoy and party hard!

Thanks!

Yeah, I have been very active here the past few months.

Hey man. I've definitely noticed you around here. This is your....third avatar? Peter Griffin in knight's armor being the first. You've introduced yourself.....three times now. Once while drunk, again while on heroin, and this one.

Happy Birthday! Mine was Sunday. Glad to hear you be been gaming your whole life, just as I have. I didn't have those early arcade experiences. But, I think I'm right there with you on the rest of it....except I had a Game Gear, but never owned an original Game boy. Had ever other major piece of hardware going back to Atari 2600.

Anyway, but yourself something cool, and tell us about it.

Happy birthday! I'll be 35 on the 20th.
