...weren't the Titans supposed to be good or something this year?

can't wait to see how many spots i fall. Even worse I lost in Fantasy. xD

Well 2 weeks ago we had the leader at 68% prediction rate and I at 52%. Now we at 63% and 55%.

68% seemed unreasonably high to begin with so if the leader kept getting positive predictions above or around 70% all season he would have ended up above 70% which just seems too hard. Always a tough week to balance everything out it seems.

NobleTeam360 got his record penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.

This is the kind of lashing out you get when somebody is a Cowboys fan, and has been seeing his QB go down like every other year. They get excited when it happens to someone else

FANTASY OCTOPUS: WEEK 6

If art imitates life, our fantasy league appears to imitate this year's NFL; a couple of one loss teams, and after that, a lot of parity. Arch and Ertz both won to extend their winning streaks, and remain tied atop the Hoshido Division at 5-1. While LudicrousSpeed holds the tiebreaker for the moment, it's safe to say that there will be a rematch later in the season if these teams continue at this pace. Of course, Arch immediately went on the fantasy league after his latest victory and proclaimed that this week's matchup against Arminillo would be his most difficult remaining game of the season, so he will probably win this week and then proceed to lose every single game the rest of the way.

Elsewhere, things took a major turn for the worst for Rol, who has been largely relying on Packers' players to carry his team. For the moment, he is still in the playoffs thanks to tiebreakers, but without Aaron Rodgers and presumably dropped production for Davante Adams, he'll have to figure out how to make up for some major lost points in the weeks to come.

Closest Game of the Week: It Ertz When Eifert 84.94, HanginwithHernandez 75.14

If you want to know why Ludicrous has the league's best record despite only having scored the 3rd most points in his own division, games like this are why; he always seems to get just enough from his players to overcome what his opponent scored. Hernandez was left hangin' thanks to miserable performances from Jonathan Stewart and Chris Andersen, negating a fantastic 22 point game from the Texans' defense. Meanwhile, Kareem Hunt wasn't as spectacular as he has been, but solid games from him, Jay Ajayi (13 points), Jarvis Landry (12 points), and Cameron Brate (14 points) were enough to keep Ludicrous from suffering the same upset laden fate as his beloved Broncos.

Biggest Blowout That Did Not Involve an Injured Quarterback: Arch 138.90, Doomfist 94.06

Melvin Gordon's 27 point game wasn't enough to save Doomfist from falling into the myriad of .500 teams, as Angelus kept pace with Ludicrous thanks to a whopping 8 of his starters scoring in double digits. Antonio Brown stopped throwing hissy fits long enough to join Deshaun Watson and Mark Ingram as 20+ points scorers, and less than steller performances from Jordan Reed (4 pts), Keenan Allen (4.5 points), and the Titans defense (3 pts) kept this game from getting close.

Biggest Upset: The Loins 97.28, AlphaMales 87.78

This one just barely missed out on being the closest; a strong performance from DeMarco Murray on Monday night helped The Loins overcome a 1 point effort from Willie Snead (how on Earth do you play WR for a team that puts up 52 points and only manage 1 yourself?). Alpha's weak production from his WRs (Mike Wallace with 3 pts, Jamison Crowder with 2.6) ultimately undermined strong games from Carson Wentz and Christian McCaffrey and made this a huge upset after predictions were adjusted for Thursday night scores.

The Rest:

Nohrian Scum 107.04, Lousy Pack 51.42

Arminillo 118.90, The Longest Foot 95.28

Dongos Gridiron Gamers 74.78, Super Club of Tanking Buddies 41.22

Week 2 of interdivisional play gets underway with some games that could have significant implications come playoff times. Arminillo faces off against Arch in a battle of division leaders, a win could really separate Arminillo from the crowd just behind him, while a loss would probably drop him into the midst of a convoluted tiebreaker battle. Meanwhile, a loss for Arch would put him both a full game and a tiebreaker behind Ludicrous (provided Ludicrous can take care of an Aaron Rodgers-less Rol), making it that much tougher for Angelus to nab that first round bye.

Meanwhile, I'll be going up against Doomfist in a matchup of 3-3 teams; the winner will, for the time being, be in the playoff picture, and the loser will be on the outside looking in. Three 2-4 teams pretty much have their seasons on the line here; it's going to be really hard to get into the playoffs at 2-5 and probably not being able to rely on tiebreakers. AlphaMales plays The Longest Foot (3-3), HanginwithHernandez basically gets this league's version of a bye against SCAB (1-5), and the Loins take on Dongo (3-3).

If you'll recall, the standings on the fantasy page are not necessarily correct, as they do not take into account tiebreakers. As a result, from here on out, I'll be updating the playoff picture on the weekly fantasy recap post. Here is the playoff picture as it stands currently:

#1: ItErtzWhenEifert (5-1, Hoshido Division Leader)

#2: Arminillo (4-2, Nohr Division Leader)

#3: Arch (5-1)

#4: The Longest Foot (3-3)

#5: Nohrian Scum (3-3)

#6: Lousy Pack (3-3)

Explanation of Tiebreakers:

-ItErtzWhenEifert leads the Hoshido Division and is the #1 seed over Arch due to head to head record (1-0)

-The Longest Foot is the #4 seed based upon best record against teams tied with the same record (1-0), compared to Doomfist, Nohrian Scum, Dongo (all 1-1), and Lousy Pack (1-2). Note that since we still have a tie for the remaining playoff spots, the same tiebreaker is repeated with the remaining teams, no longer including games against The Longest Foot, to determine the 5th seed.

-Nohrian Scum is the #5 seed based upon best record against teams tied with the same record, excluding The Longest Foot from the comparison (1-0), compared to Doomfist, Dongo (both 1-1), and Lousy Pack (1-2).

-Lousy Pack is the #6 seed based upon most points scored (522 for Lousy Pack, 512 for Doomfist, and 472 for Dongo). The removal of The Longest Foot and Nohrian Scum from consideration leads to a 3 way tie based on common record (all teams at 1-1), necessitating the need for a second tiebreaker (points scored).

That sounds about right.

Though really what I said wasn't quite accurate, cus what I actually meant was that it would be my toughest matchup until weeks 12&13 where it's not locked in yet who we're up against.
