But when he first made the polls, people were complaining about the lack of Nintendo games (if there's only one Nintendo game on the list, it's a very easy win for that game, since all Nintendo fans vote for it).

And the thing with Zelda is, the franchise is so diverse and most of the games are of very high quality.

Jesus guys, it was just a suggestion, you don't have to start a reply chain because I noticed that this list has 5 Nintendo games out of 8 games. Just seems overkill and no matter how much you want to excuse it there shouldn't be that many Zeldas. So what if it's vote-based anyways. He put 3 different Zelda games on 3 seperate polls, so obviously the Zelda fans were going to vote that again and again. I'll admit Zelda games are more different from sequel to predecessor than most franchises... but I was just making a small suggestion. I mean jesus you guys are larping on it more than I did. It's not like I hate the thread or wantstart a war over it, just noticed and made the small suggestion that there should have been more diversity representation.

That's because Nintendo makes the best games ever!

I don't even disagree, I agree somewhat but where are my Xbox's or third parties. And maybe add a PS4 third party exclusive or something.

I already mentioned which would be my winner.

My top 5 as I've entered them in the end-of-the-year threads is;
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
3. Super Mario 64
4. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
5. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Seems Nintendo-heavy, but the whole list was about 60/40 (or well, I guess 30/20 since there are 50 games) in favor of non-Nintendo games. It's just that their top games are so brilliant. Also it's funny that your polls only have one game from my top 5, my top 10 even, the winner.

Witcher 3 should have made this poll...

Anyway, it amazes me to see such old games make this list. That's like saying a Ford Model A is a better car than a Bugatti Veyron. Sure, they might have more retro appeal, be a lot of fun and bring back good memories, but technically speaking newer games are better games.

Of the ones listed, either The Last of Us or Final Fantasy VII, followed by A Link to the Past and Super Metroid. Still, none of the games here are in my top 5, or even top 10 favourite games of all time.

...Long story short, Breath of the Wild is the best game.
