I am slowly getting better and better. Good enough to be a manager, but there is always so much to learn.

Better at controlling your urge to build swastikas out of your merchandise?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

My job is getting women and money..... and I get neither of those so I fail horribly at my job.

Hmm, so maybe you should try to be a porn star? That way you kill 2 birds with one stone!

If he wants to get into the line of work of killing birds with rocks... should become a truck driver, heard they get some great women... just... have to not mind if they're a bit cold.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Run a small business. I'd say I'm okay, it's more that I see others make bad decisions about running a place. I don't think I'm that good, just that I do common sense practices that have helped me grow every year for past decade.

What kinda business you run and how did u start? Thinking doing the same in the next year or 2.

I'm a student. My grades weren't very good. However, I got my high school diploma last month, so that doesn't matter anymore.

I'm going to university in September, hopefully I'll do well there.

I work as an executive. I like to think I do well, but everyone's opinion of what makes a good chief is different.

In general I provide office supplies and services to other companies. I cannot go into full details.  I got into it through another company where I saw the need, the innefficiencies and the profit margins.  Basically companies in this field had a lot of old outdate models that were redundant and wasteful.  Despite having a fraction of their budget I've managed over past decade to chip away market share and build a decent business.  To me it is more about not having a boss and being responsible for all the logistics that I enjoy.

One bit of advice I'd give is don't expect to make money in the first couple years. You have to build client base and establish yourself after various start up costs.  Some lean years back in the day when my employees were making more than I was.  Turning the corner though is very rewarding seeing the hard work and sacrifice pay off.

The biggest faults I see in other companies is they treat the money differently because it is "not theirs".  When you see the affects of decisions you'd be surprised how much you can save by shopping around or doing some work yourself.  For example, I've self trained myself to repair our machines. Anytime they break down I take care of it.  I'd have to pay someone $100/hour to come out and do it, which is what our competitors do.  I also have shopped for raw materials and have saved thousands by finding new suppliers over the years. Most companies just do what they've been doing for decades because it is comfortable.

I can't imagine dropping out of school myself. What lead to you doing that?

Well a lot of things lead to it. I was "friends" with the nerds who constantly made fun of me for my low grades, and even when I got good grades I was reminded that I was in normal classes like algebra where as they were in Pre-calc. So I decided Junior year I would take all AP/college classes and try my hardest, however my depression became extremely bad to the point where I became apathetic to school work and didn't do it. I became paranoid about what others thought about me, and I became even more suicidal than I was last year(and not in a typical overdramatic teenage fashion where losing a football game makes you tie a knot). So I didn't care about doing anything because my mindset was it won't matter soon enough anyways, of course it's easier to think about something than to actually do it, which is why even now I'm still around sucking up oxygen because it's not an easy decision to make. My parent started to figure out how bad school was affecting me even though I try never to complain or talk about anything, and since I had an F in every class (like literal 0%s) and school was ending in only 2 and a half months, She decide that I can just stay home. I didn't know that she actually talked to the principal to make a plan for the school to make a meeting where all the teachers came together and made a plan for me to pass in time. Of course I thought I was simply not in school anymore but apparently I was actually supposed to go back. So a month or two later and the school had not contacted her again and she found out they kicked me without even calling. I wasn't upset because I thought I was already un-enrolled, but apparently she was still waiting for the meeting from the principal. Since the principal never arranged one, they just took me out of the public school program. I honestly can't blame them. Anyways it was technically illegal for me to drop out, since I wasn't 17 yet till after school ended, although I guess the school kicked me out so I don't know if it was illegal, but either way missing two months of school is illegal anyways. I'm surprised I didn't get a cop call.

I guess this is tmi but I feel that putting too little would make the answer unjustified. I agree that it's almost never justified, leaving school. Even now it was a pretty stupid decision hahahahaha. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! It was clearly a mistake

Those "friends" are asshole and school is universally shit.

I was a jock in school. Captain of the rugby team, got chicks and grades but I was still playing warhammer 40k every friday evening in an empty classroom with my nerd friends.

School is a horrible bubble and not like real life at all. I will be telling my children to just get through school no matter how diffiucult it is and get into university because that is where people can finally be themselves.

If I was you I woudl enroll in a course and get some form of education on paper. The reality is you won't get a decent standard of living without some form of education.

In Ireland the AVERAGE qualification is a masters degree to get your first job.

I spent 7 years in University before could start my career

All you poor guys in Retail. I feel for you.

I am an engineer in Intel and my job is easier than a retail job. Dealing with customers is the hardest job around

I'm 35 years old and still survive by cashiering here and bagging groceries there. As to how good I am at what I do, I have managed to retain one of my jobs since age 17, so I guess I'm good enough at it not to be replaced. But not good enough to ever be promoted, apparently.

Imagine my happiness.
