Gameplay is similar but imo they really different the same. BF has a campaign while battlefront 1 did not. The addition of third person changes up how you play battlefront compared to a Battlefield game. Battlefront have space battles and doesn't have vehicles in the land battles. these are just a few huge differences that dont make them feel the same.

none of this matters because I said "it might as well be yearly" and not "it is" but ...

" BF has a campaign while battlefront 1 did not"

So? Nobody ever cares about the campaigns.

" Battlefront have space battles "

Battlefront 1 EA did not have space battles at all at launch.

" doesn't have vehicles in the land battles. "

Yeah they do. They're a bit different but they're defintitely in the game

Are you Peter Moore? But there are lots of people that care about campaigns.

It doess now .

Well you cant drive them so they dont really change how you play the game like in Battlefeild.

Acting like a campaign greatly changes the game, bwahahahahahaha

It does in 2, like I said 2 might actually feel original, I just included it because it's DICE, it will probably feel very samey to Battlefield. And this argument could also be used for campaigns now. "But bu - they have a campaign in 2!"

Yeah you can. You can drive Tie fighters and X wings and Speeder bikes and ... AT-STS AT-STS AT-STS AT-STS. Did you actually play Battlefront EA?

Hey look another Call of battle honor duty field 178: Mega Bro edition! Just what gaming was lacking. A military FPS.

The campaign is doesnt change the gameplay but it adds more value to the game and its something that makes battlefeild and battlefront 1 different.

Two does have a campaign but i doubt that Battlefront two's campaign will feel similar to something like Battlefeild 1.

Hmm youre right but its still different than Battlefeild. And yes ive played around 6 hours of Battlefront. Most of it spent on the survival mode.

Battlefield 1's campaign is literally nothing like any Battlefield game campaing llike, ever.

There are differences of course and some of them are kinda big, just felt like a skin with a few additions imo. Maybe Battlefront 2 will be different. I don't want to come off like an argumentative asshole though

Unfortunately they have declined since bf3. They really need to discover themselves. Bf series used to be a challenging fps that focused of large scale vehicular combat. Now they are trying to get that cod money even though that pond is starting to dry up too. Just wish they would understand this and know that they will get their sales because of their differences not simularities. /rant.

Bf1 just came out and they are working on battlefront. So id imagine this is a viceral games turd aka hardline.

Thats better.

Battlefront has been a copy of Battlefield since literally the original games. I get that there's slight differences between Battlefront 1 EA and Battlefield, but they're pretty much the same game. Maybe Battlefront 2 will be wildly different, though.

I would say there's a slight resemblance between the 2, limited to the existence of some big maps on battlefront and the ability to use a few vehicles.

It's not even an FPS game, people can play it in 3rd person.

In any case... 3 more map packs will be released for BF1 so even though I expect an announcement for a new mainline BF game next year, there's no way it's coming out during the same year. Especially since DICE is working on battlefront 2 as well.

Personally, I've given up on BF. It was the entire reason I had to switch from HDD to SSD. The game is fun but at least for me, takes up far too much space on my computer and the load times were awful. I can't imagine the file size of a new BF *_*

I never said that it would be a mainline bf, i just wouldn't be surprised if it was.

...what?????? Just because you can change between first person and third doesn't mean it isn't an fps. it's and fps and a tps, but mostly an fps.
