Forums - Movies & TV - Critics were right for once, the Emoji movie is terrible

Critics are right far more often than people give them credit for.

And an Emoji movie would be so far outside of my tastes that I could only possibly see it if by accident.

Well, I wouldn't call Patrick Stewart a little known actor, but I guess that just makes it worse.

Actually though, Anna Farris is the voice actress for one of the main characters.
She is amazingly talented in Mom, so it's a shame she was wasted in this movie.

I like her. Last thing I saw her in was Keanu. I think I'm going to buy Keanu today.....

On topic: Yeah. I won't be giving this movie a chance. The very idea was terrible. That's it's excecution followed suit is no surprise.

I love Anna Farris (and her husband but lets not get into that). She is really funny but she does make some bad choices in movies to be act in.

I think we should get into that ;)

I wonder if RLM will bother or just troll fans like they did with Transformers 5.

This has looked terrible from day one, like one of those cheap kids movies you see direct to video in a $5 bargain bin.

On Sony Animations wiki page it shows Popeye is still being made. Not cancelled or anything.

But I would not hold my breath for any Sony Animation film. Like one out of every 10 is watchable.

And you expected this movie not go be a total shipwreck because... Adam Sandler is a guarantee for a lacklustre and not funny or dramatic film these days. So I doubt I would like to see the short transylvania movie.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
