Forums - Sony Discussion - PS+ prices increasing in some regions on August 31st

People... speak with your wallet... Baycot PS Plus.. this should not go by easily...espically with the indie junk we have been getting for years

More than fair. I keep a spreadsheet with all the games I get, their prices and which ones I played. You'd be a fool not to have PS+.

Soo what am i getting for that 10 euro increase?

it's in line with inflation for the UK, not sure about anywhere else

still glad i bought 15 months for £30 on Prime day though

It's a 20% increase. UK inflation rate is 2.6%. It's not that in line with UK inflation

it's been £40 for 7 years though

still, people should look for deals a buy a few years in advance now

The Australia price increase for 1 and 3 months is weird. It's cheaper to buy the monthly subscription for 3 months than buying the 3 months subscription

Same in the Eurozone, buying three 1 month subscriptions instead of one 3 month subscription saves you €1,02.

Really? I thought for sure it used to be £30? Maybe I'm thinking of XBL Gold or something?

I think so, but I might be wrong. Definitely been £40 for a while

2.6% inflation rate is 19.7% over 7 years, 22.8% over 8 years, 26% over 9 years. It adds up.

In Canada it went up by 40% last year from CAD 49.99 to CAD 69.99, thanks to the Canadian dollar dropping 20% in value as well. It felt like a bargain to top up at the old price in a recent sale. Heck Dell already sells it at CAD 74.99 here...

I intended to buy plus for the first time but now my behaviour changed and i changed my mind to never ever buy plus thank you sony
