So Spiderman: Homecoming is a bonafide Sony film?
Okay, I'll take it! EDIT: Oh, does that mean that anything that falls under Tristar Pictures is also considered bonafide Sony films? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TriStar_Pictures_films T2 and Baby Driver as well! |
Just to make sure it just needs to say co produced not just distributed. And yes the latest spider man is a sony pictures, just because Marvel helmed it doesn't take away from the fact it is Sony.

It is a bit annoying compared to the game industry, where it is clearly defined typically unless it is niche product I will admit.
Like one the key companies that made Baby Driver is Universal, but Sony had the distributions. TV that happens a lot as well, they will make something but not necessarily want it to distribute it.

lol Sausage party was actually a critical and financial success. It is actually mostly a good movie but the last scene is probably a bit too much for me.

Its a lot more complicated then games since smaller studios can change ownership very easily like Castle Rock Entertaiment which started at Columbia Pictures when it still was owned by Coca Cola but now is owned by Warner Brothers. Speaking of Coca Cola they almost bought Disney instead of Columbia Pictures.
