Cause seriously, it would be far better to have, say, a LotR or Star Wars marathon going on in your big theaters or IMAX theater instead of garbage like Emoji, Pixels, etc.

It would also be even better to have a GotG marathon going on in IMAX, and that actually happened.

Just because there is crap doesn't mean the good doesn't exist.

Not saying the good doesn't exist.  I'm saying the garbage shouldn't have a seat at the table.

Sony pictures is on a roll !! And not the good kind of ...

But god, I didn't expect it to be soooo bad XD Wait, I should have.

Baby Driver was great though! :-/

I don't think that counts, since Sony didn't make it, just distributed it, two/three companies are responsible for making that film.

Scratch whatever was written here.

I'll reserve my judgement until the unbiased JacksFilms review comes out

Most movies have a model like that though, so in that case you can shift blame for the turds as well.

Just looking at Sony's releases this year, Life, Smurfs, Rought Night, Underworld: Blood Wars, T2: Trainspotting, Resident Evil and Spiderman, were all coproduced with other companies, or just distributed by Sony. This movie is the first movie they're releasing this year where Sony has done everything from end to end. It's not the standard for movies these days.

I think anything that falls under Columbia Pictures is considered bonifide sony film pictures production.

I was hoping it would sucker punch the critics and have 98% on RT beating dunkirk, baby driver, wonder woman, etc etc.....

So Spiderman: Homecoming is a bonafide Sony film?

Okay, I'll take it!

EDIT: Oh, does that mean that anything that falls under Tristar Pictures is also considered bonafide Sony films?

T2 and Baby Driver as well!
