We can see a clear pattern. TLoZ games go out every two years. So in 2019 we will see Zelda 2D.

If we only include mainline Zeldas, so cutting out all the handheld and spinoff Zelda titles:

I'd say 2022 or 2023. It will probably launch new hardware. Perhaps Switch 2.0
