Switch at end of June sits on 4.7m units, Zelda BotW and MK8D in same period at 3.92m and 3.54m, that puts 83% and 75% attach rate, thats crazy. :)

Also its worth mentione that every 1st party title Nintendo (except their digital only titles) has put on the Nintendo Switch has been a 1 million seller as of June. 

Those of you good at math will have already worked out that Zelda has an 83% attach rate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has a 75% attach rate.

Crazy

So dramatically down from the 100% attach rate of Wii Sports in its first months. Nintendo is losing their mojo.

It's certainly impressive, but not really all that surprising. BotW and MK8 are still essentially the only real system sellers on the Switch, and most people buy the system on their strength alone at this point.

Honestly 83% for Zelda seems kind of low ...

I guess that suggests that there are currently hardly any popular games for the Switch except for those two, and people are currently basically buying the Switch because of those two games.

So Nintendo Switch might be in trouble in case Nintendo can't manage to deliver a constant stream of highly popular first-party system-seller titles like those.

I mean I thought it was nuts that Mario Kart 8 on Wii U sold 8 million on a system with 13 million sold. Last two generations Nintendo consoles have pretty insane attach rates for 1st party titles.

Wii Sports never had 100% attach rate. More like 95%. It was not a pack-in in Japan.
