With that high of a price I wonder if the thing will even sell.

Could the Argentinians not just import a Switch for a lower price?

lol it wasn't out already? wtf. I doubt it will sell well anyways and they didn't send many units because of that so it won't make much difference for stock issues in the U.S or other countries. Besides that price is so retarded that people from Argentina would rather go and buy them in Chile or elsewhere

Wow until August? I wonder why that might be?
It launched in Colombia at the same time as the USA, sure for the price of 500USD but still.
I don't know why Nintendo hates South America, the prices are way higher than other countries, the support here sucks, Splatoon 2 came out but whoops no online app in the App Store, no Fire emblem heroes (despite Mexico already having the game). No wonder why Microsoft and Sony dominate de market

Fire Emblem Heroes launched here in Brazil along with the worldwide launch in February, but no official launch of the switch until today :/

I can get one right now for 10.800.

The same thing happens with the PS4, it's much cheaper if you don't buy it from big retail stores or even Sony themselves.

Probably because small video game stores evade taxes and stuff, which is fine by me.

When i end up getting the Switch i'll just buy it from Amazon and pay someone i know 50$-100$ to bring it here without the box, much much cheaper that way.

It's a huge pain in the ass, last time i bought something i had to wait in line for like 6 hours.

I'd rather get raped by taxes and buy it here than waste an entire day.

Also amazon doesn't send videogame stuff here.

Yeah, that is not really monumental since I believe Argentinians have access to cheaper Switches already rather than expensive Official Sellers.

Keep your money, pay rent, get a Sega Master System clone or something.

You know what? NC Games is distributing Nintendo games in Brazil. It´s possible to find 3ds in major retailers again, and their deal includes Switch games. Maybe they´re into this idea of bringing the Switch officially to Brazil  too...... maybe.

If that happens, expect a new record: we had the highest-priced PS4 and XboxOne. Now we may get the highest-priced Switch too. Yay ! Brazil on the Records Books again !

Anyone pre-ordering NBA 2K18 and/or WWE 2K18 for the switch?

wrong thread.

Didn't know it wasn't officially released on a country like Argentina. A bit late but still good to have its own country's settings and language.
