It's not just losing depth, you also lose peripheral vision on the side where it's missing, I'm missing my right eye and when cycling I have to take extra care of anything coming from that side of me since my left wont quite see it over the bridge of my nose, means an extra head turn in some instances.

Try it for a bit, put something over or just close one eye, pick either one and go for a cycle, you'll see very fast what I mean, you'll hate the bridge of your nose after a bit.

Well you can do plastic surgery to become Voldemort and them your sight would improve a lot

what I can see out of my right eye... if I only open that and focus (my brain just takes the image away when both are open so that I can actually see a clear image) is actually a giant Lightning bolt shaped black scar with a tiny amount of peripheral vision around it (just some black and white rods, no cones) so I get free Harry Potter Scar Vision if I need it!

I agree that eating without taste would be extremely boring, and that losing the smell would avoid you to notice certain smells (entering a bathromm after it's being used... >.<), but to me smell is important as I have a gas kitchen and that's the only sense that could tell me if there's something wrong.

If it came to that couldn't you just get one of those gas detecting birds for your kitchen?

Wha...! Do you expect me from spending money? I'm catalan, we're cheap.

Would you rather lose a testicle or a leg?

Now that's a harder question! I know a few that would opt to keep his two buddies.

Eh, do you really wanna be 'that guy'? Like, you took the argument so seriously, you polled people on the internet to make a point?

Yes, I can't take the affront to my intelligence, it's like someone trying to convince you that 2+2 = 3.  They are wrong!  Lol seriously though it's just for fun the argument wasn't very serious but I still want to give them a hard time

If you done a poll and asked people was 2+2=3 on here.... if more people voted that it was 3 would that make it true?

I mean come on... you live in an era where people voted Trump as president, I would hold off on using Voting right now as a thing to prove a point of right and wrong :D

Right and right are determined by a consensus for the most part so voting is perfect for that.

I think VGchartz alone has proved that Star Wars Kinect added to any poll will get it votes, regardless of if the poll is about your favourite breed of dog.

That said.... I'll always vote for Riding solo!

Comparing a partial loss with a total loss in this kind of situation isn't that hard a choice... I don't think there is much instances that is preferable to lose total hear than 1 eye sight.

For this to be something acceptable maybe 1 eye or complete touch sense... I would probably prefer my sight being intact, but lack of touch could perhaps make sex a lot less pleasing.

More than that, couldn't that be seriously dangerous? I assume no sense of touch would also mean no pain. So if you cut yourself on anything you wouldn't feel it and realise so instead you'd just keep walking around bleeding, until you eventually die from blood loss and you're like "shit, where did that cut come from?".

Not just that, but also suffering burns from catching burning things without noticing, for example. There's an illness called CIPA that does that, and has a lot of drawbacks like not sweating, meaning that you can't regulate your body temperature.

Lose sight in two eyes so I don't have to read your threads again.

A joke.

Losing a leg or your stronger hand (the one you use for most stuff)?

I need music.

And eyepatch is cool.

So I choose losing one eye.

Yes it's quite dangerous to live without touch... but actually total impairment on sight, hearing, touch and smell can be quite dangerous... but we can avoid danger with some adaptation, but I have no idea how much sex would lose on being touchless.
