Your image is broken and you should feel bad!

Don't worry, the joke behind the image was lame anyway. So he should feel double bad.

It is nice, when Switch has only around 200k instal base in UK while PS4 and XB1 have instal base of few milions each.

Smaller install base but this is countered by fewer games along with Splatoon being new compared to Crash's 3rd week. Splatoon really should have won.

If you have very limited user base it very hard to hit number one, you need to have very strong attach rate in order to that on instal base of around 200k consoles when you competing with games that are launched on instal base of couple of millions units.

True but if you have a very small library, it's easier to sell games compared to a system with a ton of games.

It easier to sell but that doesn't mean that evre game will have crazy attach rate on evre market, you have already have around 100 games released on Switch (including Indies), and Splatoon 2 had best launch in UK after Zelda BotW and MK8D.

I've only seen 5 Switch games chart in the UK chart so 3rd best launch does not mean much. It does tell us that Arms did not do well though.

Exactly my point, huge majority of Switch games did not entered UK chart at all, so if same game sells good it's not because Switch has low number of games, in that is case much more Switch games would be in top 40, not only 5 Switch games.

In any case, Splatoon 2 was launched on smaller instal base than Splatoon 1 was and Splatoon 2 has 1/3 higher price point than SPlatoon1 had, and yet Splatoon 2 sold 59% than Splatoon 1. Splatoon 2 sold around 28k first week, if instal base of Switch in UK is curently around 200k, that means that 1st week round 15% Switch owners bought Splatoon 2, and thats quite good.

4 Switch games were in the top 40 on launch week. Every other Switch game has been in the top 40 except for Cars, Skylanders and Fate/Extella.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

11k according to VGC. Ouch, that's really not well at all!

It's as if they had too many choices! Nintendo should release less games for it so they sell better.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
