So for those of you who have a Switch, what are your impressions of HD Rumble so far? Are there any games where it's particularly well used, does it feel significantly better than standard rumble?

I'm curious to know as well. Sounds like over marketed bs on Nintendo's part to be honest.

Only have Zelda, Arms and Splatoon 2...... and I dont think any of it uses it.....

If that adds to the cost of the joycons then Nintendo should have implemented it more.

Pocky Lover Boy!

It feels slightly nicer than regular rumble, but I find it quite inessential.

I only have Zelda and 1-2 Switch. It's very underwhelming in 1-2 Switch, not even with a big dose of imagination does it remotely feel like what's on screen. Sure you can feel the little ticks from the precision control of the motors, yet imitating how stuff feels is pure marketing nonsense.

In Zelda the only thing that stands out is that rumble is pretty under powered in the joy-cons, which is not a bad thing.

1-2 Switch isn't worth the price by far, nor CAD 90 for a pro controller or CAD 140 for an extra joy-con pair plus grip. I'll stick to the included joy-cons for now.

Neh. Sometimes its nifty, most of the time, it feels like every other rumble

Really improves Senran Kagura. 10/10 game of the year

I wish I had impressions to give. Out of all the games I have HD rumble is just as useful as the rumble pack on the N64.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

It feels sharper and more focused. And typing that doesn't even make sense. Blaster Master and Shantae used it best, of the games I own.

Works just like fairly accurate stereo rumble as in if you're playing handheld you're going to know which side you're getting smacked from quickly.

Also the ability to rumble to the point of making noise if you're using the "search for controller" option they added is awesome, I mean... it sounds like a little car beeping when you search for one, awesome.

I can't imagine it added a whole lot to the price, it's just... rumble, but a bit cleaner feeling than last gen.
