Update: This is not professional guys. This is just a fun contest consisting of putting 40 games to a vote. The winner will be the Vgchartz honorary winner. It will not determine THE best game of all time, most likely. I don't know if that's even possible. So just relax and don't take this very serious. This is just for fun!  ;)

Due to the very successful poll thread that I just posted last night about best game ever, and the limited options available, I have decided to extend my polling and make it into a contest! I will make 3 more lists of best games in 3 more posts. Then I will make a final post with a poll for the top voted game in each of the previous 4 posts. The winner of that final poll will be the best game ever according to the Vgchartz community! 

Now, where I need your feedback and help, is suggestions for polling candidates. Give me your opinions on what games I should list for best game ever in my next 3 polls/posts. This will be fun! I probably won't comment much (if at all) but I will read all of your suggestions and consider which to pick.

Better way for you're thread would have been to poll using the comments. Count up the posts that picked a particular game and then see which game came out on top.

That would be boring and a chore for me. I really like this idea. It provides a fun contest. Vgchartz doesn't really do anything like this for it's community, so I will. I want to make this a more fun and cheerful place.

Good idea in any case the best game will survive both rounds anyway. My suggestions:
1 The last of us
2 The Witcher 3
3 Bloodborne
4 God of War 2
5 Uncharted 2
6 Dark Souls

A bit more recent games but I think they deserve a chance to be nominated nonetheless.

That's why I am asking you and others for help! So they aren't just games that I think of. Go ahead and suggest away. By the end, there will be 40 options. 

Yes, they don't have to be old games. I hadn't really thought about Dark Souls. Thanks for the suggestions!
