I've been watching modder Halk Hogan working on Witcher 3 mods for some time and I've gotta say, he's really been busy working on improving his modifications made to the vanilla textures.
His latest upload:

The mod itself features:
- high quality meshes with a lot of details, most of them are created from scratch, good optimization is preserved.
- very high quality detailed textures with great sharpness and performance, without any unnecessary VRAM losses (no unnecessary big textures for small stuff).
- very high quality accurate normal maps, almost all is baked from high poly meshes, these normals combined with detail normal maps, giving amazing look with almost any performance hit!.
- specially customized materials for all reworked stuff.
I'll end up giving this mod a go sometime in the next few weeks, once I've got my new rig together that is.
