I fixed that for you. ;) Love their games, but they really need to step up their quality control over there.

That's the thing though the game before the patch had no issues of note it's almost as if they added the problems themselves, it's like Howard realized their games are normally buggy and SkyrimRE had little to no problems and good quality control so they released a patch to rectify it.

My sister lives in DC and knows a guy who's a playtester for Bethesda. I only met him once. He told me about Fallout 4 a few months before they announced it, and his info was spot on. From what he said, they do report a lot of the bugs during testing. The team just doesn't fix them. :/ Not on the priority list.

Too old and looks dated.
Everyone has already played it, might sell a handful.

Same thing about Ultra Street Fighter II yet look how that went, it's outselling Tekken 7 on Xbox One.

For portability it's good, but everything else puts me off. I'll stick with the PC version.

There were mods years ago that allowed you to play as Link...

I mean, that's the idea of skyrim on switch.

I know, that's why I said the portability is the thing going for it, but everything else, not so much.

IGN have some footage up too:

Will it have mod support?

Anyway, those loading times are something else, that's one of the worst things about console gaming in general. 16 seconds loading to enter a dungeon and 10 seconds for a house is unacceptable to me.

While it's cool to have a portable Skyrim, as a Nintendo fan I haven't found a reason to even consider getting a switch yet. I never buy handhelds so I guess the portability thing is lost on me. Maybe when Metroid Prime 4 arrives.
