I played accordion for what felt like an eternity. It was fun at first but I quickly lost interest but everyone around me still pushed me to do it and my mom payed a lot of money for me to be taught by a semi popular teacher. I have no idea why everyone around me still pushed me to do it even though it was obvious that I didn't want to do it anymore. It was a terrible waste of time, money and nerves.

Geez, that sounds awful. Can't imagine what it feels like to be forced to spend hours doing something you despise.

I play the drums. I got my kit for Christmas of 2008. I'm decent, but not the best, not at all! Also, being that I don't have any friends, I've never been in a band either.

Guitar, bass, piano, banjo, and ukulele.

I'd like to learn drums, though.

I studied classical guitar at university. Also play electric guitar, bass, piano, mandolin and charango. My favorite instrument is my 10 string classical guitar and I enjoy arranging classical piano music for it.

I played quite a bit of piano...

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

Electric guitar, for almost 15 years now.

do you ever compose your own songs with all the instruments you know? Your versatility gives you a lot of opportunities to make great music if you ask me

15? Wow, that's pretty amazing. Did you teach yourself, or did you get a tutor?

I've played the flute since I was 7 or 8 I think, so that's like 12-13 years. I used to be pretty good, but now that I've finished school an aren't doing lessons anymore I've kinda gone downhill a bit. Still play in a concert band at Uni though.

Also taught myself some extremely basic piano, but never really got past your your average basic piano renditions of Beatles songs and movie themes.
I've considered picking up guitar, but I think it'd just be another one of those things that I wouldn't get past the basics

I haven't recorded full songs, but I love experimenting with different sounds and effects.  The problem with guitar, banjo, and ukulele is that they all occupy a similar frequency range with similar timbres so they tend to mesh together when they're recorded.  I wish I learned some brass instruments, though.
