So PS4 won for 3 weeks in row now. (Slightly lower than new 2ds ll by the way)

Last week Switch > PS4 on Famitsu and Dengeki. While Ps4 > Switch only on Media Create.

So the numbers of Media Create are considered legit for most of the time,

except for those when Switch's sales are lower than PS4?

hmm...i think i got that now...

Im not sure which one is more legit or not. Because sometimes theres like massive differences between the 3 charts.

But usually theres always 1 system that outsells all other systems in all 3 charts.

I think it just literally means, that last week it was inconclusive to say who won due to the numbers being so different which isn't normal to be such a drastic difference.

This is a thread on Media Create AND Famitsu and Dengeki so of course those numbers are being used as well just as much as Media Create. The only point being made was that two out of the three had Switch sales higher so it's hard to say if PS4 was higher or if Switch was higher, thats all.

NSW is at 25k for the week in Famitsu numbers

Well that's unexpected for a change though no less weird.  What's with these gaps between the three?

It is not too surprising.

My assumption would be Famitsu "overtracking" and since they report weekly they can't just adjust old numbers so they lower it to match Media Create LTD, since Media Create is typically the most accurate.

For this reason most people say to pick one tracker (Media Create) and stick to it through the good and bad weeks alike.

Media Create tracks Amazon.jp, while Famitsu doesn't. Last week Amazon.jp had an special bundle with Bomberman R. That's why Bomberman is back on the 9th spot, while the game is out of the Top 30 in Famitsu (meaning less than 1.249 sales for them).

The differences this week are basicaly from Amazon.jp.

The three trackers have different samples and some stores might not been tracked by other or viceversa, that's why they have these differences.

Something to consider as you do comparisons. Nintendo uses Media Create for its official sales data. They combine their retail numbers with their internal digital numbers. They don't use Famitsu for obvious reasons.

Is this the first time Nier doesn't appear?

I think there were a few weeks here and there before it came out. I could be wrong though.

Stick with Media Create. That's the name of the game.
