Has yet to be topped by another superhero movie. It transcends its genre.

No not really. Froggy voice batman. Poor fight coreography and batman still isn't the worlds greatest detective. The best Batman film is still Mask of the Phantasm because it get's everythign Batman is and should be. Bale is terrible as Batman. It even explored Bruce feeling guilty in his young life for finding happiness well before he is Bats.

Spider-Man 2 from 2004 however is still better than both films as a Superhero film.

Agreed. Joker was phenominal, Batman/Wayne though, never thought Bale was the right fit. Scarecrow was handled poorly as well as the two seconds of Two-Face before Batman straight up murdered him.

Spiderman 2 was essentially the all around better hero movie, or Reeves Superman.

It doesnt feel that long ago, jezus

and yeah, top 3 best supahero film ever made

You'll never get consensus, but I still see it as the best Super hero film made. 2008 with Iron Man and this marked a turning point for the genre for the better.

One of my favorite movies ever to be sure, but it's hard for me to classify it as a "superhero movie". To me, TDK is a great movie about a vigilante who pursues a criminal that just happen to be Batman and The Joker, respectively.

For me: Best movie that "feels" like a superhero movie - The Avengers. Best movie that happens to have a superhero in it - TDK.

I liked Batman begins, I remember I was shocked to see Batman without the mask as long as it did, real acting, great cinema and a masterpiece soundtrack, But the dark knight even topped that, it's one of those once in a life time masterpieces, great acting, great action, superb atmosphere, and brilliant cinema, I will never forget the first time I saw it

Shit and I haven't watched Rises yet, guess I'll use it as an excuse to watch the entire trilogy over the weekend

I actually haven't seen Rises yet either! I'm not sure why to be honest, I liked the other 2 films.

Same tbh :^) not sure why I didn't watch it back then either, guess I'm not that much into movies compared to video games in general
