I have seen every MCU movie except Spider Man Homecoming. They are all at the very least well crafted and entertaining films.

I had no interest in the DCU films but I saw Wonder Woman over the weekend because it got good reviews and I wanted to support the first major female superhero movie. I thought it was terrible. If it's the best DCU has to offer I won't waste time on their other movies.

Wow... this comes across as just wanting to throw s*** at the DCU.

Is there even any comparison?

I have always been a bigger Marvel fan. I actually never got interested in DC stuff until i watched the animated movies. But, even so, the DCU is not awful. It is entertaining and gets more hate than it deserves because it is compared to the marvel one, wich is obviously much better planned at this stage.

Wonder woman was pretty good i thought, but the DCU is not planned as it should. The movie should've released before Batman vs Superman just so the audience already knew the character. Her dropping in would've been a nice extra instead of a question mark.

They will make the same mistake with Aquaman, wich is a shame.

MCU for the live action movies, DCU for the animated movies.

MCU doesn't even come close to touching DCU's animated movies, but DCU has been doing quite badly in their live action dept.

i think it is.. At the end of the Day the MCU might be 5 years older but even on Warners 4th movies they are only just (IMO) made a good movie, There TV series are alright though 

I like both, I just wanted to get a general opinion. 

It's not about slamming on but just wanted to know if say a huge DC comic book fan would prefer the Marvel movies over the characters they prefer etc

Having both as an option would mean less debate 

I completely forgot about Xmen movies...god i hate them 

At the same stage I think Marvel has the edge. Ask me again after the Justice League movies and roster fills out and how Infinity War goes.

Well, since DCU as a whole has exactly one good film in it so far, this isn't really much of a contest.

At this point it's hard to really see how DCCU can ever compete with the MCU, just generally better made films regardless of character. Most of the super heroes films have issues, just Marvel films are just better.

This said, I have enough of my own issues with the MCU for fanboy reasons.
