But thats for the moment.Nioh isnt exclusive because there is a PC version.Putting a "Only on Playstation" is simply a good marketing angle for Sony, but its not because Sony payed or anything for it to be exclusive to PS systems.Or at the very least, its not confirmed or anything. Its simply Square that decided to just make one version, and Sony ran with the exclusive angle. To further clarify and demonstrate that fact, here is a part from the ign article where they interviewed Nomura:
Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura says a Nintendo Switch version of Kingdom Hearts 3 or Xbox One versions of the Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 and II.5 ReMix or Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue collections could be possible in the future, but only after existing versions of Kingdom Hearts 3 are complete.
He says that another version on other systems is possible, thus not only implying, but straight saying that there is no exclusivity deal to PS systems.Hell, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue contains DDD, which was a 3DS exclusive for many years.See where Im going? So no, the label "Only on Playstation" is not a 100% garantee of exclusivity, especially with the meaning exclusivity got nowadays.

When did Nioh ever get a PC version?
also, as far as I remember, not a single game with the "Only on Playstation" on the cover, has ever been released on non-playstation platforms.
hell, not even Crash bandicoot N. Sane trilogy has it.
They don't put it on there, unless it's confirmed to be a lifetime exclusive

Sorry about the Nioh part, got confused. It was Nier that has a Pc version.
In any case, if that were the case, then Nomura wouldnt have made that comment. Not to mention that, in those collections, there are Nintendo games that were once exclusive to Nintendo systems. So there is precedence there. And since when a game is exclusive to any given system lifetime?Eventually, even if its after years and years, they are ported to newer systems, and collections are made and made available to different systems. And the collection has been released for some years now(the 1.5 has been for about 2,5 years, 2.5 for about 1,5 years) So again, precedence.
Im not saying it will happen. But if it dosent, its not because of some exclusivity deal that Im almost certain dosent exist(DDD was a Nintendo exclusive. But that didnt stop the game being released in the collection on PS4, for example).Sometimes companies just make a decision to make a game exclusive to a system due to a number of reasons. This one was likely made because good part of the KH fanbase is on PS, Wii U was a failure back in the day, and the Switch success got everyone by surprise. There are also reasons as in that companies prefer one system than another, and Square is known to make some questionable decisions about where to release their games.
